Breakfast at Swan House

Breakfast is taken in the dining room that overlooks the grounds of Tarrington Court, a veritable arboretum. The dining room is decorated in the period style of Swedish blue, which is unusual but suits perfectly. The irregular planks of 17th century elm floor show the saw marks of the two handed pit saw.

We pride ourselves in the quality of our breakfast at Swan House. The fresh produce is sourced from local and regional producers and is organic wherever possible. Cereals, grapefruit, fresh fruit juices and yoghurt to start of course, with toast, both white and granary, and freshly brewed tea and coffee. The traditional English breakfast consists of rashers of best bacon, succulent sausage, tomato, baked beans, traditional black pudding, mushrooms and eggs in any form that you want them. If there are any other requirements I am sure that we can provide them. We know from previous experience that our guests are liable to skip lunch!

Lighter alternatives to the full English breakfasts are also offered with yoghurts and fresh fruits etc. but the choice is up to you.

Most dietary requirements can be catered for especially gluten free. Gluten free needn’t be like cardboard and includes gluten free scones with jam and butter for your room too!
